Stockholm band Melby have so far released two singles and only shown a fraction of how diverse they are. Their debut with the catchy single 'Human', a track which swedish site HYMN called "one of the year's best pop singles to date," was followed by 'Regnet', a Swedish track where the art of gradually building up a mood is completely mastered. When performing live, the band show their full potential and offer an unpredictable experience that constantly breaks up and finds new variations. Distinct guitar solos mixed with well-crafted synth bass lines and folky harmonies. The quartets light, semi-psychedelic folk pop, usually led by Matilda Wiezells enchanting voice has been compared with acclaimed acts like Amason and Daughter. Melby consists of Matilda Wiezell, Are Engen Steinsholm, David Jehrlander and Teo Jernkvist and have, like hot Steve Buscemi's Dreamy Eyes, signed to the new Stockholm label Rama Lama Records.
