TANGO FOR 3 consists of Per Arne Glorvigen (bandoneon), Odd Hannisdal (violin) and Steinar Haugerud (double bass) ), in addition to Sverre Indris Joner on piano. The ensemble was founded in 1986 and was the first in Norway to specialise in Argentine tango. PER ARNE GLORVIGEN hails from Dovre in Norway and is regarded as one of the leading bandoneon players of his generation. Violinist ODD HANNISDAL's broad musical horizons extend from contemporary music via genre-bending projects to classical music, opera and tango. Bassist STEINAR HAUGERUD specialized in tango music from an early age, and has several stints in Buenos Aires behind him both as a tango performer and student.
