Svein Rikard about «Copenhagen Diaries»: The compositions are nurtured by complex rhythms and harmonic structures. A result of how I hear music, both at present and also signifying the future direction of my music. This is my debut-album and as such, it is a physical statement of a an ongoing creative process. The road towards the finisehd product has been long, but finding the right musicians has been decisive in making the music and the improvisations as fluid as it is. The compositions were created in the twilight zone where curiousity meets nightmares and "angst" meets coffein! The music on "Copenhagen Diaries" was written between 2010 and 1014 and represents my experiences achieved during 5 years in Copenhagen.
